Local Little Leagues are entirely volunteer organizations that depend on adults to organize and conduct every aspect. Volunteers are needed as administrators, coaches and umpires, and to help with field maintenance, fund-raising, concessions and numerous other projects.

Grant community kicks off fundraising to renovate sports fields

Patty Farrell, special to The Oregonian , September 09, 2010 11:35 a.m. Grant High School and the Grant Park community are kicking off a fundraising drive to renovate the Grant fields, beginning Sept. 17 at the Grant football game against J efferson High School in the Grant Bowl.
